Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and performing complex surgical procedures on patients with spinal conditions. This position requires dedication to patient-centered care and the application of the latest surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with spinal disorders.
• Perform various spinal surgeries, emphasizing minimally invasive procedures when appropriate.
• Oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Stay updated on advances in spine surgery and apply new knowledge into practice.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of residency training in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in Spine Surgery preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in spine surgery.
• Expertise in a range of spinal surgical techniques, including minimally invasive methods.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and life-long learning.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
