We are currently seeking a Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon who possesses outstanding surgical skills and a commitment to patient care. This role is vital in diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular conditions through advanced surgical techniques.

In your capacity as a Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon, you will take on significant responsibilities including patient evaluations, performing intricate surgeries, and contributing to improved clinical outcomes. Your role will greatly impact the quality of care provided to patients suffering from heart and vascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cardiovascular health through history-taking and physical examinations.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and angiographies, to inform surgical decisions.
• Diagnose and formulate treatment plans for various cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures such as coronary artery bypass, heart valve surgeries, and vascular reconstructions.
• Provide meticulous post-operative care and follow-up with patients to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement integrated care strategies for patients.
• Participate in ongoing research and continuing education to advance knowledge in the field of cardiovascular surgery.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent degree with a specialization in cardiovascular surgery.
• Completion of a general surgery residency followed by a cardiovascular surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in cardiovascular surgery is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in performing a range of complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop patient-centered treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and handle emergency situations proactively.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development in cardiovascular medicine.
