This role involves providing expert surgical care for patients with colorectal conditions within a private healthcare setting, emphasizing personalized and high-quality patient service.

As a Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a range of advanced diagnostic and surgical interventions, managing patient care from initial consultation through to post-operative recovery. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient consultations, medical history analysis, and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic procedures including colonoscopy and imaging.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, combining surgical and non-surgical options.
• Perform complex colorectal surgical procedures, utilizing minimally invasive techniques where appropriate.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about colorectal diseases, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation in compliance with private healthcare standards.
• Stay updated with advances and best practices in colorectal surgery through continuous professional development.
• Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics and maintain patient confidentiality.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) and valid license to practice medicine.
• Completion of residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Proven experience in surgical management of colorectal conditions in a private healthcare setting preferred.
• Expertise in performing complex colorectal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, patient-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical documentation.
