We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Specialist, Client Processing Representative to support day-to-day operations across trade processing and payment operations. The role will focus on operational support activities and requires foundational knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs) or broader trade finance products based in Taipei, Taiwan.

In addition to trade-related support, the role will also assist with payment execution and regulatory reporting, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Trade Processing Support

  • Support daily trade operations activities related to trade finance products and workflows.
  • Apply basic knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs), trade products, and trade transaction lifecycle in operational tasks.
  • Perform transaction monitoring, validation and reconciliation for trade-related activities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve processing issues, discrepancies, or pending items.
  • Support control checks and ensure proper record maintenance for trade processing activities.
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Communicate with clients in a professional, patient, and effective manner to address inquiries, provide updates, and support issue resolution while maintaining a high standard of service.

Payment Operations Support

  • Support payment execution activities in accordance with operating procedures and service level expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of payment processing activities.

Regulatory Reporting & Controls

  • Support preparation and submission of regulatory reporting related to operational activities, where applicable.
  • Ensure processing activities comply with internal policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for transactions and reporting activities.
  • Escalate issues, breaches, or unusual items promptly in line with governance and control standards.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in trade operations, trade finance, banking operations, or payment operations.
  • Working knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs) or general trade finance products.
  • Experience in payment processing/payment execution is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operational controls, reconciliation, and exception handling.
  • Good understanding of regulatory and compliance awareness within banking operations.
  • Professional certification in trade finance, trade operations, or a related field is preferred

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills both in written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a controlled, deadline-driven operational environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and grow in trade and payments operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to trade finance operations, banking operations, or payment services in a financial institution.
  • Understanding of SWIFT/payment messaging or related banking systems.
  • Awareness of regulatory reporting requirements in operations.
  • Experience in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
