Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs/replacements, and other complex interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and critical care specialists to provide comprehensive cardiac care.
• Participate actively in clinical research and teaching initiatives within the university healthcare setting.
• Provide expert preoperative and postoperative management and follow-up care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative surgical techniques and protocols.
• Mentor and train surgical residents and fellows, fostering the next generation of cardiac surgeons.
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiac Surgery.
• Extensive experience in cardiac surgery, preferably within an academic or tertiary care center.
• Demonstrated excellence in surgical skill and patient management.
• Strong commitment to research, education, and clinical excellence.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
• Track record of academic contributions (publications, presentations) is desirable.
