of the Entitlements Program: -

The Entitlements Program is implementing holistic Enterprise entitlements and tax processing platforms for global utilization, integrating Income, Corporate Actions and Tax withholding. This will be achieved by implementing the IMActions and BaNCS applications and integrating with the existing best of breed architecture. This will deliver greater STP (Straight Thru Processing) capability, use of the latest SWIFT messaging standards and create a scalable and volume insensitive platform capable of handling the increased complexity of Entitlements and tax processing.

Looking for a Sr Consultant Business Analyst who will be a key member of an Entitlements scrum team to deliver prioritised projects following an Agile methodology. The Sr BA role will represent the customer in the scrum team and will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering the user stories in the team backlog, aligned to the program strategy and release objectives. The Sr BA role will be expected to engage with the Product Owner and the SME’s for building the backlog and supporting in successful delivery of sprint.

Key BA Competency expectations for role: -

  • End to end software development life cycle experience covering: -

    • Gathering requirements, process modelling and data analysis

    • Working with the design teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all the requirements adequately

    • Supporting the technology teams through the build and unit test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood

    • Working with business teams to elicit input and support the planning and execution of user acceptance testing

    • Supporting the test team through pre-acceptance testing, system testing and system integration testing

    • Assisting with operation readiness, data migration, user testing and roll-out as necessary

  • BA skills covering: -

    • Understand business strategy and collaborate with business and technology to facilitate the development project scope

    • Lead development of function and non-functional business requirements

    • Responsible for providing expertise, analysis and driving change for a variety of strategic transformational and operational initiatives

    • Look across corporate strategic initiatives to understand how big picture initiatives link together in a holistic roadmap

    • Provide oversight, direction, and management to assigned scrum team members with appropriate span of control

    • Review requirements for quality and completeness and hold team accountable to senior business analyst execution standards

  • Knowledge / Skills

    • Experience of having worked in a Global Custody and/or Asset Servicing environment is key

    • Strong knowledge and working experience in entitlements processing including industry best practice

    • Knowledge of Agile methodology including experience of extensive story writing / EPIC writing

    • Experience of data analysis including data mapping

    • MS Office skills around excel, PowerPoint, word, Visio required

    • Effective communication skills, collaboration, and stakeholder management

    • Experience of working in a large multiyear global transformation project

    • Relevant BA/PO role for 7 years or more is a must

    • BA/PO certifications is encouraged

    • Experience of working with the BaNCs and/or IMActions systems strongly desired

Experience:

For internal applications - 24 months as Senior Consultant

Seasoned expert with extensive business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over 13+ years and/or equivalent experience
