Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: 7.5-hour shifts Monday to Friday with weekend rota participation. Weekday shifts between 7:30am and 9pm. Weekend shifts between 8am and 8:30pm.

We’re looking for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our Haematology team at HCA Laboratories at Shropshire House in London. HCA Laboratories has more than 35 years of experience delivering high quality pathology services across a wide range of specialties, supporting acute care within HCA Healthcare UK hospitals, IVF clinics, GP services, healthcare screening, and insurance work. Equipped with advanced analytical technology and supported by highly skilled colleagues, our laboratories provide a comprehensive diagnostic service across all pathology disciplines. As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Haematology, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a responsive and accurate diagnostic service that supports clinical decision making and patient care. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary laboratory environment, you'll undertake the processing, analysis, validation, and reporting of samples while contributing to the smooth day to day running of the department. You'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise across a broad range of haematology procedures, work with advanced laboratory technology, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
