In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a specialist team delivering industry-leading biodiversity mitigation and management initiatives, this role will see you champion innovative strategies to protect and enhance biodiversity across one of Australia’s largest infrastructure programs.

About you


You’ll influence policy, guide assessments, and collaborate with experts to embed best practice into every stage of project delivery.

You will drive smarter ways to manage biodiversity risks and create solutions that deliver measurable conservation outcomes in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment where your expertise makes a real difference to wildlife and ecosystems.

Your technical expertise and strategic thinking, built across ecology, biodiversity management, environmental planning, or related fields, will see you excel in shaping frameworks, overcoming regulatory challenges, and leading initiatives that set new benchmarks for sustainability.

You’re recognised as a trusted advisor and collaborator, skilled at turning complex biodiversity requirements into practical, innovative solutions, and experienced in working with stakeholders to achieve positive environmental outcomes.

About ANSTO

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
