Specialist - Business Development

EDGE Commercial | Business Development

We are seeking a driven Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our EDGE Commercial portfolio. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic customer relationships, and supporting the successful pursuit of defence programmes across regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the defence sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with military customers, government entities, OEMs, and strategic partners.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement to support growth strategies.
• Manage opportunities throughout the business development lifecycle, from lead generation to contract award.
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, sales forecasts, and CRM updates.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of business development, sales, or marketing experience within the Defence or Aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of ammunition, armaments, or defence manufacturing sectors.
• Understanding of defence procurement processes and customer engagement practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
