– Specialist Anesthesiologist

Location: Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Anesthesiologist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and comprehensive anesthesia care across a range of surgical and medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients preoperatively and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia as clinically appropriate.
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and manage intraoperative complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and ensure safe recovery.
• Manage airway emergencies and provide appropriate resuscitation when required.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and other medical professionals.
• Provide anesthesia for elective and emergency procedures.
• Evaluate and manage patients with complex medical conditions requiring anesthesia.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement activities, and clinical audits where required.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesia/Anesthesiology
• Valid eligibility for Specialist Anesthesiologist classification under UAE licensing requirements.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.
• Ability to manage emergency and high-risk anesthesia cases.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• DOH license or eligibility is preferred.
