We're Hiring | Specialist Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and DHA-licensed (or DHA Eligibility Letter holder) Specialist Anaesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, perioperative care, and pain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients preoperatively, including medical history, physical examination, and anesthesia risk assessment.
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on patient condition and surgical requirements.
• Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC).
• Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and physiological status during procedures.
• Manage airway, ventilation, fluid therapy, and hemodynamic stability throughout surgery.
• Provide postoperative pain management and monitor patients during recovery from anesthesia.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including airway management, resuscitation, and critical care support.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital protocols, infection control policies, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to clinical education where applicable.

Requirements

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
• MD/DNB/Equivalent postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Specialist Anaesthesiologist.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Fellowship qualifications are an added advantage.
