Job Description

The Specialist, Advisor Marketing is responsible for executing and supporting the systems, tools, and resources that enable Blue Trust advisors and branches to effectively market their practices in alignment with the firm’s brand, strategy, and compliance standards.

This role serves as the operational bridge between National Marketing and the field, helping adapt national campaigns and storytelling into practical, easy-to-use resources that support consistent client experiences and local activation within defined guardrails.

This role focuses on building, organizing, and executing advisor marketing programs, ensuring resources are accessible, adopted, and continuously improved based on advisor feedback.

This role is accountable for ensuring advisor marketing resources are organized, accessible, and consistently used across the field.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented, with a strong ability to manage projects and support program execution in a scalable way.

Principal Accountabilities:

Advisor Activation & Program Execution

  • Build, organize, and maintain advisor marketing toolkits, templates, and resources
  • Help build and maintain advisor marketing playbooks
  • Ensure materials are current, accessible, and easy for advisors to use
  • Own the day-to-day execution and coordination of advisor marketing programs
  • Continuously improve resources to make advisor marketing simple, clear, and easy to execute

Adoption & Enablement Support

  • Support rollout of advisor marketing resources and campaigns
  • Assist in creating guides, tutorials, and onboarding materials
  • Execute adoption efforts and track usage, surfacing insights and opportunities for improvement to marketing leadership
  • Maintain structured feedback loops from advisors

Campaign Localization Support

  • Adapt national campaigns into advisor-ready materials within defined guardrails
  • Coordinate distribution and timing of campaign resources
  • Support standardized event and campaign frameworks

Advisor Platforms and Resource Management

  • Support advisor-facing platforms and ensure resources are organized and up to date
  • Coordinate with Marketing Technology and vendors on updates and improvements
  • Help manage templates, assets, and usage tracking
  • Contribute to reducing ad-hoc requests through strong self-service tools

Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment across campaigns, content, and events
  • Share advisor feedback and insights with marketing leadership

Approaches work, interactions and relationships in a manner consistent with the Company’s Core Values

  • Understands the counsel and biblical basis upon which Blue Trust serves its client base.

Maintains the highest Compliance standards by adhering to the company's Human Resources guidelines, Compliance policies and procedures, professional designation standards, and industry's regulatory standards to mitigate risk to the company

Measurement of Success:

  • Increased advisor adoption of marketing tools and resources
  • Reduction in ad-hoc marketing requests
  • Consistent brand representation across advisor-led marketing
  • Positive advisor feedback on usability and effectiveness
  • Effective localization of national campaigns within defined guardrails

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep programs moving forward
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build, organize, and maintain tools, templates, and resources with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of marketing platforms and tools (social, email, DAM) or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset
  • Problem-solving ability with a proactive, “figure it out” approach
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of moving pieces
  • Strong desire to support and serve advisor teams with excellence
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop over time

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • 1–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, program coordination, or related roles
  • Experience supporting or working within a distributed team, sales organization, or client-facing environment is a plus
  • Exposure to marketing campaigns, templates, or content execution preferred
  • Experience working with or coordinating vendors is a plus
  • Strong interest in marketing operations, advisor enablement, or program execution
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through on projects

Travel Requirements:

Periodic travel (10–15%) to support advisor training, branch workshops, and key firm initiatives. Travel should directly support enablement objectives and be approved in advance.
