Position Overview:
Serves as primary resource for interpreting university policies and procedures, resolving complex and non-routine financial matters, and ensuring consistent application of university, State of Maryland, and IRS requirements and guidelines. The Specialist independently exercises sound judgment in determining appropriate resolutions, and serves as a liaison among departmental administrators, principal investigators, vendors, and central offices. The position maintains current knowledge of evolving policies, systems, and processes and translates those requirements into practical guidance and directives.

Salary: $57,000 - $64,500 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
