Job Descpition: The Policy Specialist – Indigenous Engagement and Implementation is directly accountable to the Indigenous Engagement and Implementation Director, First Nations and Métis Health, and provides policy development, analysis, engagement and implementation expertise, with a primary focus on the Compassionate Intervention Act and its implications for First Nations and Métis peoples, communities, patients, families and healthcare providers across Saskatchewan.

Education:

• Undergraduate degree in policy, public administration, health administration, Indigenous studies, social sciences, healthcare or a related discipline. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Additional training in one of the areas of 1) archiving 2) records management 3) policy development 4) clinical standards 5) government relations and 6) communication is an asset

Experience:

• 7+ years of experience working in a research/policy analyst or senior role
• Experience in a senior clinical and/or corporate role
• Corporate and/or Clinical policy development experience
