Join us as Special Tools & Bench Test Equipment Engineer, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.

From general instructions, you will be responsible for the follow-up of all Customer deliverables related to special maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment of a project, from design to delivery. You must make sure that all deliverables are submitted on time and meet the Customer requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze the Customer technical specification to extract the specific special tools and diagnostic equipment requirements;
  • Evaluate the Suppliers technical proposals;
  • Analyze technical packages submitted from the Suppliers and approves technical documents such as drawings et technical descriptions;
  • Participate to the design reviews with the Suppliers and Customer;
  • Follow up on the delivery of the equipment;
  • Attend the equipment installation and commissioning at the Customer Plans and follows up technical activities;
  • Approve the test procedures to validate the design of the equipment under your responsibility;
  • Attend the qualification tests of this equipment at Suppliers;
  • Design of Maintenance Diagnostic Equipment
  • Undertake any other relevant duties related to its functions

As our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering
  • Any completion of a mechanical technique at college would be an asset;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Be able to design and create drawing of maintenance tools using Catia V5
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • If you have knowledge in the railway field would be an asset;
  • You will have knowledge in testing electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
  • Be autonomous and demonstrate leadership skills

Bilingualism

Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
