Job Description

HealthPartners is hiring a Special Products Analyst in our Membership Accounting department. This position coordinates HRA/FSA eligibility, wellness dollars, debit cards, deposit information and files into the CDHP system. Reviews error reports, web updates and employer change requests making appropriates changes in CDHP systems. Provides support for the Membership Accounting department for the FSA/HRA member reimbursements and reconciliation processes. Verifies and audits data. Creates and analyzes reports as requested by employer groups. Processes FSA/HRA member reimbursements ensuring appropriate controls are followed. . Prepares and provides weekly funding requests for employer groups.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Provides support for the Membership Accounting department for the FSA/HRA member reimbursements and reconciliation processes.
  2. Verifies and audits all FSA/HRA reimbursements and reconciliation data in the system.
  3. Prepares and analyzes FSA/HRA reports for employer groups as requested.
  4. Processes FSA/HRA reimbursement payments to enrollees.
  5. Prepares weekly funding requests for employer groups to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement of the FSA account.
  6. Processes daily HRA eligibility feeds to the CDHP system. Resolve any discrepancies that occur.
  7. Processes electronic and manual FSA eligibility and deposit files from employer groups. Resolves any discrepancies that may occur.
  8. Assists in the preparation of miscellaneous audit schedules needed for internal and external financial audits.
  9. Provides assistance to a Health Plan Accounting area as necessary to resolve issues pertaining to information origination in the CDHP area.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of related experience in areas such as product administration, accounting or benefits.
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and ability to master systems that support the FSA/HRA operations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members as well as internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and establish priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, Finance or related degree
  • Working Knowledge of plans and IRS regulations regarding FSAs and HRAs
