Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Chemical. Bachelor's Degree Aerospace. Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineer. 5 years of experience in aerospace/structural special processes (paint, heat treat, pyrometry and/or chemical conversion). .

Position Purpose

Provides the necessary support to facilitate the manufacture of the product, meeting the design requirements, quality standards and timely deliveries; seeking continuous improvement of manufacturing processes in accordance with the goals and / or objectives of the structural SBUs.Work closely with the other groups to update and improve the standard for manufacturing as applicable.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for the RCCA to solve problems, investigate defects, use of SPC as applicable .
2. Works on projects that requires major technnical knowledge and extensive related development .
3. High performance expectation on Special processes such as heat treat, chemical conversion (Alodine), paint and/or pyrometry .
4. Lead and coordinate people from different areas .
5. Represents department and company with technical discussions and talks with vendors as required.
6. Makes technical decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive manufacturing activities .
7. Ensure compliance of our manufacturing methods with internal specifications as well as Aerospace Material Specifications .
8. Perform technical audits focusing on the adherence to the processes .
9. Oversee the implementation of new processes and methods as required.

Other Requirements:

1. Masters degree in related suject is a plus.
2. English spoken and written (+75% advanced).
3. Catia V5, Smarteam, MS project, excel, SPC software.
4. Project management, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, ERP.
5. People skills, team work, communication skills.
6. Travel availability.
7. US Visa.
