Joining our team will provide you with the opportunity to assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures using advanced imaging technology. You will prepare patients for procedures, operate imaging equipment, maintain a sterile environment, monitor patient status, and assist during examinations and treatments. Working closely with radiologists, cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers will allow you to contribute to achieving the best patient outcome. What You Will DoDemonstrates competency in patient positioning and technical imaging skills by producing a variety of radiographic procedures while maintaining the highest standards of age-specific patient care from neonates through geriatrics.Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department by scanning all items in the inventory system and, entering and completing correct billing codes in the RIS and on the patient billing sheets.Displays a commitment to Hospital mission and values by consistently:

Education QualificationsAssociate’s degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in a school of Radiologic Technology. (Required) or
Experience Qualifications1+ years experience as a Registered technologist. (Preferred) and1+ years as a registered Radiologic Technologist with IR experience (Preferred) and
Skills and AbilitiesAble to perform interventional procedures in specified areas. (Required proficiency)Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, Inventory systems, PACS, EMR and RIS. (Required proficiency)Clear knowledge of image and exam protocols. (Required proficiency)Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including single-plane and bi-plane angiographic equipment, power injectors, and various medical devices and computers.
