General
1. To execute maintenance, improvement and investment
works.
2. To attend breakdown and rectify in the shortest possible time.
3. To read, understand and update equipment instruction
manuals documentation.
4. To carry out simple mechanical and electrical jobs independently as and when necessary.
5. Supervision of contractors, and monitoring permit to works
6. To perform any tasks as assigned by engineering manager.
7. To assist and participate in the planning of the preventive
improvement/investment jobs.
8. To take reasonable care for the safety and health of while at work and of other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
9. To issue, close or handover the work permit for Contractors.
10. Check and monitor equipment service reports, quotation, PO, DO and Good Received (GR) in system.
Electrical
1. Act as the on-site authority for electrical safety and HT/LV system operations.
2. To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and commission substation equipment, power distribution system, lighting and small power system, battery chargers section etc.
3. Advance electrical calculation motor KW/amp, cable. type/sizing, motors starters design/selection, volt drop, power factor calculation /correction.
4. Ability to respond to emergency breakdowns (on-call).
5. Guide and perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
6. Lead troubleshooting during power failures and electrical breakdowns.
7. Ensure electrical safety compliance as per Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
8. Support safe isolation, switching, and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures.
HVAC
Weigh Bridge
1. Troubleshoot and repair weighbridge and associated instrumentation systems in coordination with vendors.
2. Support servicing, calibration, configuration, and tuning of weighing systems.
3. Ensure systems are monitored, maintained, and compliant with operational requirements.
