Job Description

Scheduled Hours

37.5Reports to Director of Special Events for Schools and Programs. The role of the coordinator is to assist with staffing, planning and implementing special events and ceremonies designed to cultivate, maintain and strengthen student, alumni, parent and friend ties to the University.

When assigned, support for on-site presence during evening events and weekend programming will be required.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Project management and support for school and program-focused events for the SEUC department, including producing meeting agendas, meeting recap documentation and event timelines, staffing events, onsite logistics, vendor coordination and expense management. This position will frequently interact with high-level university leadership, donors, and alumni.

Reporting and Data Management

  • Assist with RSVP management and reporting.

  • Assist with gathering and analyzing event data, including complex invitation data from multiple software systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$23.37 - $36.19 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
