POSITION: Special Education Teacher - Secondary Learning Support
Long Term Per Diem SubstituteLOCATION: Central Bucks High School East AVAILABLE: August 31, 2026 - November 16, 2026 (dates are approx.) COMPENSATION: $200.00 p/ full dayThe successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.
Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education 7-12 certification (content area certificate required for issuance).
Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required). PROCEDURE:Apply through the CBSD Employment Portal on or before September 15, 2026*. EOE
