
Special Education Teacher � SEAL Program (Grades 5�8)
Pay Range: $48,751.00-$93,464.00 / year
Sanford Middle School has an opening for a Special Education Teacher to work in our SEAL (Social, Emotional, Academic, and Learning) Program serving students in grades 5�8. This classroom supports students with a range of social, emotional, academic, and behavioral needs.
The primary instructional focus of this position will be teaching social skills and executive functioning skills The successful candidate will develop and deliver engaging, individualized instruction designed to help students develop self-regulation, organization, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal skills, and strategies for successfully navigating the academic and social demands of middle school.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising and supporting educational technicians, collaborating closely with related service providers and general education teachers, and working as an integral member of our school team. Responsibilities will include case management, development and implementation of IEPs, progress monitoring, and evaluations as needed
