LEARN Student Support Services is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher to join our specialized developmental disabilities program. Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an educator who believes in the potential of every student and wants to continue growing professionally.

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Connecticut Teacher Certification in Special Education, such as 165 or 065, or eligibility for appropriate certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to evidence-based and individualized instruction.
• Curiosity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
• A belief that high expectations, strong relationships, meaningful instruction, and the right supports can open possibilities for every student.

Salary Range

$49,292 to $102,010 annually.
