POSITION: Special Education Teacher - Elementary
Long Term Per Diem SubstituteLOCATION: Kutz Elementary SchoolAVAILABLE: August 31, 2026 - September 30, 2026 (Exact dates TBD) COMPENSATION: $200.00 p/ full dayThe successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.
Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred.
