POSITION: Special Education Teacher - Elementary Low Incidence Autistic Support 1.0 FTE

Contract Eligible (with proper PDE Certification*)

LOCATION: KUTZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOLAVAILABLE: 2026-2027 School Year - Start date TBDCOMPENSATION: Salary according to CBEA Agreement DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will have solid ability to prepare, direct and deliver instruction to students in special needs classes.

Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards.

Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD.REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-8 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Elementary certification preferred.

Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required).

*If applicant requires a PDE Emergency Permit, contract eligibility is not applicable, and the vacancy becomes a Long Term Substitute position
