For a young child, communicating a need, joining a classroom activity, or completing a familiar routine can be a meaningful milestone. At Candor Consulting & Diagnostics, your teaching helps make those moments possible.
We’re hiring a full-time Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher who brings creativity, patience, and a thoughtful approach to supporting young children with disabilities and developmental delays. Join a team that values your expertise, supports your professional growth, and understands that your life outside work matters, too.
Why Join Candor?
You invest your time and talent in helping children grow. Here’s how we invest in you:
- Competitive hourly pay: Starting at $45.00 per hour, with compensation for every minute you work.
- Comprehensive benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options for eligible employees.

- Professional growth: Mentorship opportunities and professional development reimbursement to help you strengthen your skills and advance your practice.
- Referral rewards: Earn up to $1,000 in referral bonuses when you help us connect with talented professionals.
- A supportive team: Be part of a community of educators who value collaboration, student success, and the expertise you bring.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You’ll help young learners develop skills that support participation, relationships, and independence. You will:
- Make learning engaging and accessible. Provide developmentally appropriate, individualized instruction through play, purposeful activities, and everyday classroom routines.
- Put individual goals into practice. Adapt lessons, materials, and instructional strategies to support each child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, accommodations, and learning needs.
- Create a supportive classroom. Use predictable routines, visual supports, and positive behavior strategies to help children feel secure and participate successfully.
- Recognize progress and adjust instruction. Collect student data, maintain accurate documentation, and use observations and progress monitoring to guide your teaching.
- Build strong family partnerships. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, celebrate progress, and share practical strategies that support learning.
- Collaborate for each child’s success. Help develop and review IEPs, participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, and work with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support each child’s educational goals.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Texas special education teaching certification, with any additional qualifications required for the assignment.
- Knowledge of early childhood development, individualized instruction, IEP implementation, and positive behavior supports.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- A patient, adaptable approach that recognizes each child’s strengths and individual learning needs.
