TITLE: Special Education Teacher: Case Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: School Principal
JOB GOAL: The Special Education Case Manager is a key figure in ensuring services and supports are in place and provided by the Individualized Education Plan (IEP), and acts as liaison between teachers and parents of students with disabilities by collaboratively providing leadership, coordination and innovation to special education programs and services.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and contract length to be established by the Board of Education
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel and Department of Education regulations.
