Oak Hill School sets the standard in empowering students to learn through meaningful, functional and innovative educational experiences that build self-advocacy and independence and reinforce the dignity of students using comprehensive transdisciplinary supports.
The Certified Teacher at Oak Hill School works 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8a-4p. The Certified Teacher plans, organizes and facilitates all student instruction. Supervises all students and staff. Develops, implements, and monitors programs that seek to develop the functional academic, vocational, social, and ADL skills of students to enhance independence and quality of life. Applicants currently in school matriculating toward a Special Education Master’s degree; have experience in an educational environment or have experience working with individuals with disabilities; are ready to inspire and support staff to help students achieve their educational goals, are encouraged to apply.
