Position: Special Education Teacher

Location: Chester Hill, New South Wales

Your Role:

As a Special Education Teacher at Salamah College, you will:

• Design and implement Individual Learning Plans that cater to each student’s unique strengths and needs.
• Establish a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment where every child feels seen and supported.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic student development.
• Harness the power of technology to generate engaging and modern learning experiences.
• Lead and guide Learning Support Assistants to deliver targeted support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/ Master’s degree in Education with a specialisation in Special Education.
• NESA Teacher Accreditation.
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or diverse needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and empowering every learner.
