
Lewis-Palmer Middle School is seeking a Special Education Moderate/Severe Needs Teacher for school year 2026-2027. The role of the Special Education Moderate Needs Teacher is to identify, assess, and interpret student data; provide consultation for teachers, parents, and administrators; provide direct instructions with students; provide a small instructional environment as needed; develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs); and be a contributing member of the school professional learning community.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. The starting annual salary for this position is $44,550 - $75,279. Additionally, this position qualifies for an extra 0.2 FTE, bringing the total compensation to 1.2 FTE.
