The Special Education Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the special education program within the school. This role involves ensuring that students with disabilities receive appropriate services and accommodations in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The Special Education Coordinator collaborates with teachers, staff, parents, and external agencies to foster an inclusive educational environment and promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students with special needs.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required background checks and clearances.

This is a 10-month position based on a 188-day annual contract. Employees are expected to work 7.5 hours per day, consistent with the established school and district schedules. Responsibilities may include duties beyond instructional time, such as meetings, professional development, and school-related events. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance, fulfill all assigned responsibilities, and demonstrate flexibility to meet the evolving needs of students, staff, and the district. This position will require additional workdays during the summer months beyond the standard school-year schedule.
