The District seeks candidates to fill a Special Education Assistant position at Ingomar Elementary School, effective immediately.
A Special Education Assistant will provide support services for identified students assigned to select regular and/or special education environments and will work collaboratively with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education Teachers and Regular Education Teachers to provide students with academic, emotional, social, behavioral, and physical support.
Special Education Assistant positions work 7 hours per day during the school year only.
Starting Hourly rate will be in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The starting rate for the 2026-2027 School Year is $20.70/Hour with a comprehensive individual benefit package available.
Minimum Requirements Include 48 credits of a post-secondary education, Associates Degree, or successful completion of the state-approved competency assessment by the end of the first year of hire.
