As a Special Credit Account Manager,you’llplay a critical role in FCC’s recovery and special credit workYou’llhelp protect FCC’s security position while supporting agriculturalproducersor commercial customersthrough the most challenging stages of financial distress.You’lllead recovery strategies for delinquent and distressed accounts, applying yourexpertisein agriculture, credit, and financial analysis to maximize recovery outcomes.
You bring confidence and sound judgment to complex, high‑risk situations. Known for yourstrong communicationand negotiation skills, you navigate sensitive recovery discussions with customers, work closely with legal and internal partners, and remain resilient while managing difficult files. Your ability to balance firm recovery actionswith customer relationshipsallows you to make a meaningful impactforFCC.
Whatyou’lldo
Manage a portfolio of distressed and delinquent accounts with a strong focus on recovery outcomes
Assess financial statements, security positions, and risk of loss to determineappropriate recoverystrategies
Manage arrears, recovery actions, and, whenrequired, the recovery and sale of secured assets or properties
Work closely with legal counsel and other third parties to execute recoverystrategies and asset sales
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure effective monitoring, reporting, and communication onhigh‑riskaccounts
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to lending, operations, and credit staff on collections and recovery practices
Whatyou’llbring to the team
Requiredqualifications:
A degree in agriculture, business, commerce, or a related field
At least six years of experiencein lending, underwriting and/or credit management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to assess risk and drive effective recovery solutions
Preferredqualifications:
Solid understanding of agriculture and agricultural lending
Direct experience in collections, recovery, or special credit accounts
