Royal Caribbean Group’s HR team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Spec, Talent Acquisition reporting to the Manager, Global TA OPS.

This role will work onsite in Mexico City office.

The is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional service while maintaining quality throughout the recruiting, pre-employment, and onboarding process for both internal and external hires. The TA Specialist acts as the new hire's trusted advisor and facilitates a memorable experience throughout the employee’s life cycle. The specialist also works closely with our COE's to ensure an efficient recruiting and employee experience. This person supports the recruiting journey by assisting the Talent Partners with the hiring process, ensuring completion of background verifications, preparing new hire communications, and receiving new hire paperwork, among other activities. The specialist will harbor strong public speaking skills and have a keen eye for visual design. This person will influence the employee’s introduction to RCG and its brands by delivering a superior New Hire Orientation experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding through completion, ensuring the accuracy of all pre-employment tasks and processes according to company policy and US employment laws, all while maintaining data integrity.
  • Act as a dependable point of contact for Talent Partners, candidates, hiring managers, and the business during the hiring process.
  • Support Talent Partners with Job Posting, Sourcing, and Offer letters.
  • Initiate and maintain all new hire communications related to onboarding.
  • Initiate background process and ensure completion of background verification and credentials as required.
  • Review drug tests and background results, escalating when necessary to the HRBP and Legal department.
  • Plan and execute New Hire Orientation, including NHO presentations to new hire classes.
  • Maintain NHO presentation content to keep information relevant, accurate, and up to date for RCG and respective brands.
  • Liaise with the Onboarding Manager to identify areas for improvement as it relates to process flow, new hire experience, and vendor interaction.
  • Complete form I-9 in a timely manner through the HR system.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate (as necessary) system issues in the HR platform as they arise.
  • Ability to administer business processes and requests consistently with general supervision.
  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining and upgrading professional knowledge and skills with industry trends, current practices, and new developments.
  • To be successful in this position you must be able to execute each of the position's specific responsibilities while meeting the position's expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition; including sourcing.
  • Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with executives and employees at all levels of the organization preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to develop onboarding strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Acoustic, and Canva
  • Knowledge and understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS, and Service Now
  • Excellent customer service experience and the ability to be responsive on a consistent basis.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workflow.
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the business in a fast-paced HR environment.
