The SPD Solutions Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large surgical instrumentation datasets to assist in researching and auditing surgical instruments for hospital sterile processing departments and operating rooms. This position will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making.

In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To
• Collect and organize large datasets from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data repositories to correct, standardize, and audit surgical instrument product numbers, manufacturers, and descriptions in an excel format. Utilizing v-lookups to merge data into usable customer reports.
• Cross non-Aspen surgical instrumentation to Aspen surgical instrumentation that is clinically compatible.
• Gain access and work within a hospital’s instrument tracking system to run reports and convert product numbers on instrument count sheets to Aspen products.
• Research competitive products to align with company product portfolio related to sales agreements.
• Maintain data analysis tools, models, and dashboards to assist in the visualization and interpretation of data.
• Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data and provide insights to support decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during initial assessments on-site, develop an implementation plan, monitor and assist with project implementation on-site, and execute on project deliverables.
• Deliver reports and presentations to communicate analysis results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to improve business performance and drive growth.

What You Need to Succeed in This Position
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working in the medical industry – preferably prior experience working in operating room or sterile processing department.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven, critical thinker, detail-oriented, project-based, and organized.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Travel up to 35% based on the needs of the business
• Eligible to work in the United States
