This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Spécialiste, Soutien Aux Partenaires, BMO Ligne d’action (Bilingue, français et anglais) based in Canada.
This role provides high-quality sales and service support to clients and internal partners across investment and wealth management products.
You will identify client needs, provide tailored guidance, and uncover opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve the overall client experience.
Working in a fast-paced, regulated financial environment, you will manage a range of transactions, inquiries, and service requests with accuracy and professionalism.
You will also collaborate with internal teams and escalate complex situations when additional expertise is required.

Accountabilities
- Provide professional, responsive service to current and prospective clients by addressing questions, resolving requests, and identifying opportunities to improve their investment experience.
- Proactively contact clients when appropriate to identify investment needs and recommend relevant products, services, programs, or promotions.
- Ask thoughtful follow-up questions to understand individual client circumstances and provide appropriate guidance aligned with their needs and objectives.
- Complete required client transactions and accurately document interactions and requests, ensuring all information is processed in accordance with established procedures.
- Meet sales objectives by identifying and promoting relevant investment products and services while maintaining a strong focus on client needs.
- Monitor investment markets, industry developments, product trends, consumer needs, and regulatory changes, incorporating relevant knowledge into client conversations.
- Collaborate with internal business groups and refer clients to the appropriate teams when their needs extend beyond the scope of the role.
- Escalate complex or unresolved client matters to senior leaders or appropriate internal partners and manage escalations from other employees when required.
- Analyze client and operational issues, determine appropriate next steps, and complete complex or varied activities within established guidelines and limits.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and organizational information while identifying and reporting suspicious activity that may be associated with money laundering or terrorist financing.
- Follow applicable regulatory, compliance, consumer protection, privacy, and anti-money-laundering requirements.
- Contribute to broader team responsibilities and take on additional tasks as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally combined with a post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of investment products, services, industry competition, market trends, and evolving product offerings.
- Familiarity with investment and brokerage products and services is strongly valued.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) course, or an equivalent securities representative licensing credential.
- Functional understanding of risk management, regulatory requirements, compliance principles, and applicable financial services regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to support clients and colleagues within and outside Quebec.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client requests and administrative responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to assess issues and determine appropriate solutions or escalation paths.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with internal partners.
- Strong client-service orientation and the ability to communicate investment-related information clearly and professionally.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively within established procedures and regulatory boundaries.
