This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Spécialiste de remboursement, Bilingue - Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist based in Canada.

This role is focused on supporting patients and customers by ensuring smooth access to essential healthcare services.
You will coordinate reimbursement-related requests, manage service workflows, and help resolve issues efficiently.

Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for coordinating reimbursement support activities, ensuring timely resolution of requests, maintaining accurate records, and improving service operations. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between customers, patients, internal teams, and external partners to support efficient service delivery.

  • Manage standard and more complex patient and customer support requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Support case intake, documentation, tracking, and completion activities to maintain accurate service records.
  • Monitor workflows, queues, and transaction quality to identify delays, prevent errors, and improve operational consistency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers to address inquiries and remove service barriers.
  • Maintain data accuracy across operational systems and reporting tools to support reliable decision-making.
  • Escalate complex cases, risks, and unresolved issues to the appropriate teams to ensure continuity of service.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and contribute to the adoption of digital processes that improve efficiency.
  • Support a high-quality customer experience by ensuring clear communication and effective case management.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate has experience in customer operations, healthcare support, or service coordination, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment. Bilingual communication skills are essential for effectively supporting diverse customers and stakeholders.

    • High school diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience required.
    • 2+ years of experience in customer service, patient support, case coordination, service operations, order management, or related fields.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and French required.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain information clearly.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when managing documentation and workflows.
    • Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and coordinate follow-up actions.
    • Comfortable working with customer relationship management systems, scheduling tools, or healthcare platforms.
    • Experience with healthcare administration, patient access, reimbursement processes, or customer support certifications is considered an asset.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
