Location/Division Specific Information:
This is a fully onsite role based at our Rockford, IL site. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position

Shift:

2 nd 12 pm – 8:30 pm Mon - Friday



How Will You Make an Impact?:
As a Packaging Technician I, you will help ensure high-quality antibody and immunoassay products are accurately received, packaged, labeled, and inventoried in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

A Day in the Life:

  • Receive incoming materials into the inventory management system while maintaining accurate documentation and product traceability
  • Package, label, verify, and stock finished antibody products following standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by following safe laboratory practices, participating in Lean, 5S, and Practical Process Improvement activities, and collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to meet production goals.


Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required:

  • No previous work experience required.

Preferred:

  • Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, warehouse, laboratory, or a related environment.
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified, cGMP, or other regulated manufacturing environment.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow work instructions, maintain documentation, and perform inventory transactions.
  • Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn inventory management systems, receiving software, and label printing applications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a team environment, and meet production deadlines.
  • Basic mathematical and scientific calculation skills.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.


Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Work in an ISO-certified manufacturing and laboratory environment while following applicable safety procedures and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Regularly stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday.
  • Frequently perform repetitive hand movements associated with packaging, labeling, and receiving activities.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Other:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $19.50–$20.50.
