Spare Part Planner Associate

The Spare Parts Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability of spare parts and production consumables required to support maintenance and production activities. The role focuses on spare parts planning, inventory optimization, procurement coordination, supplier follow-up, and warehouse process support to ensure equipment reliability while maintaining optimum inventory levels and cost efficiency.

The position will be based in Izmir and will report to Maintenance & Repair Manager.

Position:

As a Spare Part Planner Associate, you will be responsible for:

Spare Parts Planning & Supply Management

  • Plan and monitor spare parts and consumables requirements based on maintenance and operational needs.
  • Create and follow up purchase requisitions and orders to ensure material availability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to prevent production interruptions caused by material shortages.

Inventory Optimization & Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory levels, consumption trends, and stock coverage.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives and achievement of cost targets.

Supplier & Contract Coordination

  • Coordinate procurement, repair, and refurbishment activities with suppliers.
  • Follow up supplier performance, delivery commitments, and contract-related activities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory, procurement, and supplier performance.
  • Support decision-making through data analysis and KPI monitoring.

Stakeholder Communication & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Procurement, and Engineering teams to support operational needs.
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities in spare parts planning and inventory management.

IWS (Integrated Work System) methodology & Spare Parts Processes

  • Support the implementation of IWS standards and Storeroom processes.
  • Participate in DDS (Daily Direction Setting) activities and ensure compliance with PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Spare Parts Planning, Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain or related fields, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, spare parts planning, and procurement processes; knowledge of IWS principles and Storeroom processes is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP, MS Office applications, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
