Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring a Spanish (ELE) Teacher to provide in-person lessons to our client in San Sebastián/Donostia

• Student: 1 adult (female) who has recently relocated to Spain

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in San Sebastián, near Plaza Gipuzkoa (20004)

• Preferred start date: ASAP

• Availability:
  - Monday: 10:00am–1:00pm; 2:30pm–4:00pm; evenings from ~5:00/6:00pm
  - Tuesday: evenings from ~5:00/6:00pm
  - Wednesday: evenings from ~5:00/6:00pm
  - Thursday: 10:00am–1:00pm; evenings from ~5:00/6:00pm
  - Friday: 10:00am–1:00pm; 2:30pm–4:00pm
  - Saturday: evenings from ~5:00/6:00pm

• Lesson Frequency: Once per week

• Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session

• Current language level: Complete beginner

• Native and other spoken languages: German (native); English (fluent); French (basic)

• Student's language needs and goals: Lead and participate in meetings, communicate with colleagues and leadership (CEO, HR), give presentations, and handle everyday interactions (shops, restaurants, social settings); learn about Spanish culture
• Additional Information: Prefers practical, pressure-free learning through speaking and listening; enjoys games and interactive activities; values encouragement over heavy correction; dislikes formal testing; interested in travel, food, socializing, skiing, and reading; open to varied learning methods and specialist support

Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language

• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of Spanish (ELE) teaching experience
