Spacecraft Design Engineer

Your Tasks

• Development and design of the structural system of satellites and launcher parts
• Generation of CAD models of mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and parts
• Preparation of the related manufacturing drawings and documents such as design reports and handling manuals
• Active participation in the procurement, assembly and test processes
• Interaction with the external suppliers of the hardware and support of manufacturing activities
• Presentation of work results internally and to the customer
• Participation in technical reviews with our international partners such as the European Space Agency
• Support with the proposal’s preparation and evaluation

Your Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace business
• Considerable communication skills, high degree of flexibility and resilience
• Willingness to learn and take over additional responsibility and to execute trainings
• Entrepreneurial way of thinking with focus on quality and cost awareness
• Fluency in spoken and written English is a must
• Strong team spirit
