We are looking for a Space Safety Communication Coordinator on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) for their location in Paris, France.
Please note that this position is a temporary cover for a duration of 4 months.
The successful candidate will lead and implement engaging communication strategies for ESA’s Clean Space and Space Safety programmes, ensuring strong and consistent outreach across the space community. They will coordinate the creation of clear, creative content (including digital, visual, and written materials), manage online presence and collaborative platforms, and organise events and outreach initiatives. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring effective communication of programme results and achievements.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Space Safety Services:
Support the coordination of the Space Safety Programme’s (S2P) communication activities;
Propose and maintain the S2P communication strategy;
Follow the implementation of the communication plan for S2P;
Support the enhancement of the online presence of S2P;
Support the coordination of the production of written and visual content for communication;
Provide advice on the allocation of resources to communication activities;
Organize events;
Liaise with all directorates involved in space safety activities;
Prepare reports for boards, delegations, and industry.

Degree in Economics or Business and Management;
At least 7 years of experience in Economics or Business and Management, with strong emphasis on communication of green technologies and/or sustainable development;
Proficiency in the suite of MS Office software;
High level of reliability;
Excellent communication skills;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
Knowledge of another European Language is an asset;
Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
