Under general supervision and working within a team setting, the Space Planner position requires heavy production skills, the ability to multi-task, co-create design & F/F/E packages, and manage commercial tenant projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform space planning for tenant-specific, as well as standardized spec projects
- Produce construction documents for pricing/permitting in accordance to building, energy and accessibility codes while using Microsoft Vizio and AutoCAD programs
- Developing and documenting designs, details, schedules, and specifications.
- Field measure buildings to confirm the accuracy of plans, obtain current information of facility inventory/furniture, and input into software.
- Work alongside our internal construction managers on construction administration
- Assist senior staff by selecting finishes, furniture, and artwork for a broad range of projects
- Create finish, concept boards, and presentations
- Maintain databases, project files and related documentation on new construction, renovations, remodels, and expansions.
- Ensure appropriate department/ tenant involvement
- All other duties as assigned

Experience, Knowledge, and Education:
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional inter-personal skills
- Experience as a facilitator, and/or liaison skills between parties regarding building facility projects
- 2+ years’ experience preferred
- Advanced skills and previous working experience in AutoCAD, Adobe, Microsoft Visio
- Excel, Word, and other computer software
