Eliva® at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach features five luxurious treatment rooms and world-class facilities, the spa offers state-of-the-art therapeutic rituals that set a new benchmark for luxury wellness in Australia.

We are looking for additional experienced Spa Therapists to join our world class team. You will be dedicated to exceeding expectations of our guests to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided through our Eliva Spa experiences. You must be naturally friendly, courteous and professional and be committed to providing clean and safe surroundings for the comfort and care of guests and employees.

As casual Spa Therapist you must be available to work at least one day on the weekend, on either Saturday or Sunday. Hourly rate is as per the Hair and Beauty Award 2010.

Your day to day

• Provide a warm welcome that kicks off an incredibly memorable guest experience and deliver services in an efficient, professional and pleasant manner according to Spa protocols.

• Assess guest needs and recommend appropriate treatments and products.

• Deliver a range of signature spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, and other therapeutic services

• Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in delivering all treatment types including massages, facials, body treatments, and other therapeutic services

• Be knowledgeable of all product ranges offered in the Spa and the cost use of all retail items offered to upsell and rebook your guests.

• Assist with Spa reception duties when required, including taking guest reservations, cashiering, responding to telephone bookings, opening/closing and other general enquiries.

• Maintain a clean and serene spa environment and ensure all equipment and products are used and stored correctly

• Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in spa therapy

• Be the brand ambassador for Eliva

Essential Requirements

• Candidates must hold a valid work right/visa in Australia to be considered. Kind reminder that sponsorship is not available.

• Minimum of 1- 2 years' experience as a Spa Therapist in within a luxury hotel, upmarket Spa or resort setting.

• Qualifications are essential with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and/or Certificate IV in Massage or equivalent,

• Hands-on experience in spa treatments including massage therapies.

• Skilled in delivering massage, facial and body treatments, with the ability to customise each experience to suit guest needs.

• Impeccable grooming, attention to detail, and time management skills that ensure every treatment runs smoothly.

• A strong understanding of the spa and wellness industry, with a calm, professional manner when working under pressure.

• Proven customer service and retail sales skills, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

• Commitment to meeting performance expectations through training and clear KPIs.

• Deep knowledge of wellness industry trends, guest expectations, and service innovations

• Some experience using spa management systems

• A valid RSA is required or be completed at commencement.
