We are inviting an exceptional Spa Manager to step into a role where luxury, wellness, leadership and island life come together.

This isn’t your typical Spa Manager position.

It’s your opportunity to own the wellness experience at one of Australia’s most extraordinary luxury island resorts leading our Day Spa, Fitness Centre and Hair Salon and creating experiences our guests will remember long after they leave.

You’ll lead, inspire and motivate a talented team of therapists and hairdressers, creating a culture where people thrive and exceptional service comes naturally.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Day Spa, Fitness Centre and Hair Salon, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

• Create and deliver exceptional, personalised wellness experiences for our luxury guests.

• Work closely with your team to ensure the highest standards of service, presentation and guest care are maintained.

• Monitor and drive treatment, product and hair appointment sales, identifying opportunities to maximise revenue.

• Develop new ideas and experiences that keep our wellness offering fresh, exciting and competitive.

• Coach and develop your team, supporting their growth, confidence and career progression.

• Manage stock, inventory, rosters and operational requirements to keep the department running efficiently.

• Build strong relationships with other Resort departments to create a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

• Be hands-on and visible, stepping in wherever needed to ensure our guests receive the exceptional service expected of InterContinental Hayman Island Resort.

Salary rate $85,000.00 + super

To be successful in this full-time role, you’ll have:

• Nationally recognised qualifications in Beauty &/or Hairdressing

• Previous leadership experience in a luxury Spa/Salon environment

• Excellent time management skills and ability to adapt and personalise treatments to guest’s concerns

• Use initiative and proactive and positive attitude to assist team members to ensure operations run smoothly
