SUMMARY:
The Esthetician will deliver quality spa services to guests in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner, attending to any immediate needs throughout their spa visit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide requested spa service in a timely manner, providing a relaxing and beneficial experience to each guest.
- Set up work station with necessary supplies, securing the supplies at the end of each shift.
- Sell products by educating the guests regarding their skin care regime.
- Ask guests about any contraindications before beginning service.
- Maintain cleanliness of spa, including transporting soiled linens to the proper areas.
- Courteously and expediently accommodate all guest requests and follow up to ensure completion of request.
- Handle guest complaints and questions, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Inform the Spa Front Desk Lead of all supply and material needs.
- Attend all meetings, trainings, and workshops as required by the Spa Director.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Education/
Experience:
- A minimum of 500 hours of massage training from an accredited/approved massage school required; Washington Idaho Certification required.
- Previous experience in a spa, private practice, doctor’s office, and/or chiropractor’s office preferred.
- Certifications in a variety of massage modalities preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must work well with minimum supervision.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must have an excellent attendance history free of no call/no show policy violations.
- Must have a strong understanding/knowledge base of the spa industry, services, and products with an emphasis on all skincare, waxing, makeup treatments and products as well as all spa, nail services, treatments, and retail products offered at the spa.

This position will require the individual to work a variety of shifts, often within the same work week, and may require overtime as necessary to fulfill priority tasks.
