Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Snowbird is situated in the middle of the Wasatch Mountain Range and is not only home to awe-inspiring views and mighty terrain, it is also home to employees equally as remarkable. Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.

TITLE:                   Spa Attendant

LOCATION:         Snowbird

STATUS:               Full-time or part-time

SCHEDULE:        3-5 days/week, shifts vary between7:00 am - 8:30 pm

As a Spa Attendant, you will clean andmaintainthe Cliff Spa to the highest industry standards, with emphasis on sanitation

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness andstockacrossall areas of the spa includinglocker rooms, bathrooms,treatment rooms,sauna, steam room, lobbies, offices, pools, outdoor space, etc.(i.e.Laundry,vacuuming, dusting,mopping, scrubbing,taking out trash)

  • Identify,correctand/or report any maintenance deficiencies

  • Provide outstanding guest service

  • Complete all tasks within Snowbird’s health and safety guidelines

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

  • Safe use of chemicalsand other cleaning equipment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well within a teamoralone,andbe self-motivated

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Summer shifts vary between 7:00am-8:30pm. Winter shifts vary between 5:00am-10:30pm.May also vary due tospecial events

  • Must be able toworkweekends and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures

  • May experience unusual stress fromhigh business volumes,continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird

  • Must be able to lift45lbs.

  • Must be able to push 250lbs.(on wheels)

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

  • Must be able to walk 10,000 plus steps per day at8,000feet ofaltitude

  • Mustdemonstrateabilityto bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions

  • Work may be outdoors and may require exposure to cold or heat and other extreme weather conditions

  • Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise

  • Other/Additional Dailywork with cleaning chemicals may present some hazards. Must use care and caution with chemicals and equipment
