As a Sox Analyst (Level I or II) in Tulsa, OK, you will support accounting operations, deliver financial insights, and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and data analysis.
What You’ll Do
Execute month-end close ( journal entries, reconciliations, SEC and management reporting, variance analysis)
Prepare reports, schedules, and financial analyses
Support audits with clear documentation
Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Improve processes with a focus on efficiency and automation
SOX & Controls (Level II focus; exposure at Level I)
Support SOX compliance activities
Participate in segregation of duties reviews
Improve and automate controls and processes
Level I: Support day-to-day accounting activities, Build knowledge of systems and processes
Level II Own deliverables and work independently, Guide team members and solve complex issues
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Level I: 1+ year experience or internship
Level II: 2+ years experience (energy preferred)
CPA or progress toward certification preferred
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Excel proficiency
Communication and collaboration
SOX knowledge (Level II depth)
