Southeast Asia Data Centre Sector Lead (PMC)

What you will do
- Serve as the primary regional champion and client-facing oversight lead for major hyperscale and multi-tenant data center accounts across Southeast Asia.
- Provide strategic direction and senior governance over multiple active data center projects, ensuring multidisciplinary teams deliver flawless execution from early site master planning to technical handover.
- Spearhead regional business development initiatives, identifying emerging market opportunities, building high-value joint ventures, and scaling the consultancy’s sector market share.
- Cultivate and maintain critical C-suite relationships with international tech giants, global operators, and local investment partners.
- Oversee regional resource allocation, mentoring a diverse team of project directors, design coordinators, and controls managers across multiple international execution offices.

What you will need
- Data Centre Mastery: Demonstrated leadership experience managing the delivery of large-scale, high-density data center programs across Southeast Asia.
- Client & Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships, navigate complex commercial agreements, and drive sector growth or business development.
- Technical Breadth: Strong foundational understanding of mission-critical facility lifecycles, including civil/structural constraints, heavy power synchronization, and complex mechanical cooling infrastructure.
- Regional Mobility: Willingness to be based in Kuala Lumpur under an expatriate arrangement, with flexibility for regional travel across Southeast Asian markets.

- Tier-1 Industrial Pedigree: Leadership experience within top-tier international cost consultancies, global main contractors, or specialized EPCM firms managing mega-scale capital works.
- Project Longevity & Regional Experience: Evidence of seeing major programs through to completion and stabilization, with deep operational familiarity with Southeast Asian supply chains and regulatory environments.
- Professional Credentials: Active global accreditations are highly valued, such as PMP certification, chartership with relevant international engineering/surveying bodies, or credentials in sustainable/green building frameworks.
- The Mindset: A high-intensity, commercially sharp leader who balances corporate client-facing diplomacy with a hands-on, execution-first approach to building technical infrastructure.
