Peninsula Post Acute

Peninsula Post Acute is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Sous Chef to join our culinary team. We are looking for an experienced professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and service.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in leading the daily operations of the kitchen

  • Prepare and oversee the production of delicious, nutritious meals

  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation

  • Maintain sanitation and food safety standards

  • Support and mentor kitchen staff

  • Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to create an exceptional dining experience for our residents

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience

  • Experience in a hospital, healthcare, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) is strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience
